Aloha Sunset Rotarians,

What an incredible weekend! Our annual fundraiser at the Halekulani Hotel on July 18th was an absolute success. Thanks to the extraordinary support of our sponsors, members, and guests, we reached record-breaking support for our community initiatives.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who participated in making our fundraiser a success. To our Past President Dan Murariu, mahalo nui for securing multiple gold sponsorships that were critical to our financial success. As always, Beth Hoban is the glue that holds everything together, and the evening would not have happened without the countless hours she invested into the event. Special thanks to Jim Hoban for tracking down every last dollar, sponsor, and silent auction payment, as well as managing all of our expenses. Kazu, Jerry, Glen, Evelyna, Arjun, Mark, Jue Jue, James, and Crystal—thank you for stepping up and helping carry the evening through to a tremendous success. If I am forgetting anyone, it is from exhaustion, not a lack of gratitude!

The evening really made me realize that the true power of Rotary is what we can accomplish when we come together to create lasting impact.

• Location: The Pantry (2522 Rose Street, Honolulu, HI)

• Details: Volunteers are always needed for our ongoing service commitment to The Pantry! Each shift, we help serve over 500 local families facing food insecurity.
